Job Summary
Lead, plan and organize the work of associates within the ESS UW & Policy Services team across multiple locations. Develop, coach, train and mentor team members; supervise the resolution of sophisticated processing and customer service needs; assign work and monitor progress; implement changes to processing procedures and systems; drive workload visibility, standardize decisioning, and strengthen cross-team coordination to deliver consistent, high-quality results at scale. Analyze data to inform policy/procedure updates and training programs, prepare management reports, and contribute to budget planning and performance management. Requires extensive experience in related field, leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive improvements in complex technical or production contexts.
Required Qualifications
- Seven years of experience in related field
- Five years of experience with undergraduate studies
- Education: Undergraduate studies and/or studies toward related insurance designation preferred
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Knowledge of applicable processing systems and procedures
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex problems and coordinate implementation/resolution activities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results
- Experience developing and administering performance evaluations and salary activity
- Ability to develop and implement policies/procedures and training programs
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to prepare and present updated reports to management
- Budget awareness and understanding of financial impact on unit/team
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations
- Travel as needed
