Job Summary
Esports Organized Play Manager, IBIT (9-month Contract) leads the local amateur competitive experience ecosystem in Barcelona, overseeing local competitive events and partnerships. Responsibilities include managing local Competitive Experience products with partners and vendors, handling local tournament licensing, cultivating relationships with tournament organizers and Riot-affiliated partners, collaborating with regional brand managers to develop bespoke Organized Play activations, and delivering regional/global activations in local markets while ensuring alignment with EMEA Publishing and Esports offices. Requires 3+ years in competitive product management, experience building organized play ecosystems, vendor/partner relationship management, and ability to manage offline and online marketing activations; fluency in Spanish and English is required, with knowledge of the Spanish gaming/esports scene.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in competitive product management
- Experience with designing organized play ecosystems that contribute directly to the growth and sustainability of games and their communities
- Understanding of how to build long-term vendor and partner relationships that dynamically evolve with market needs
- Experience in project management and execution of offline and online marketing activations
- Ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and support them towards shared objectives
- Ability to think strategically, in order to work at scale across a broad portfolio of products and competitions
- Knowledge of Spanish gaming and esports scenes
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)
