Job Summary
Esports Game Coach for Valorant (Temporary) leads UW-Green Bay Esports’ Valorant team as head coach, overseeing player and team development, attending and supervising practices, matches, and reviews, and collaborating with the Esports Coordinator to implement game plans, establish rosters, and communicate with opponents and internal stakeholders. The role supports student-athlete development in and out of competition and offers a flexible work environment with a preference for in-person attendance. Start date August 24, 2026, with end date December 6, 2026; home campus is Green Bay with possible travel to Marinette, Sheboygan, or Manitowoc campuses. The position does not sponsor H-1B visas. There is a 25% limited appointment with duties centered on coaching, scheduling, strategy, and roster management.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree at time of application
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in competitive play for the game title of hire
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1 year as dedicated coach for team in specific game title OR 2 years as individual/personal consultant coach in specific game title
