Job Summary
Fixed Asset Specialist responsible for managing the company’s fixed assets, maintaining in-country and US fixed asset subledgers, calculating period depreciation, coordinating periodic physical inventories, and supporting month-end close with journal entries (depreciation, asset transfers, disposals). Requires JD Edwards proficiency, bilingual English/Spanish, and travel to Curridabat/San José, Costa Rica. Will support fixed asset audits and tax inquiries, and handle asset-related reconciliations and reporting in a Latin America/Caribbean context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor ́s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ (two+) years of progressive work experience in the job offered or related occupation (preferred).
- Experience working in the International Retail market in Latin America and/or in the Caribbean.
- Proven knowledge and experience using the JD Edwards system.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Travel required.
