Job Summary
Offshore Control of Work (CoW) Specialist responsible for managing the Permit to Work Office and the CoW system (electronic or physical), coordinating across Production, Maintenance, Marine, and Administration; providing training to all CoW users and acting as system administrator for the E-CoW to ensure compliance with MODEC procedures and national/international regulations; ensure required documents (checklists, TRAs, JSAs, Safety Override Certificates, Confined Space Entry, Atmosphere tests, Isolations) are approved and attached to Permits; facilitate communication and coordination among department heads, supervisors, isolating and executing authorities through approvals and pre-task processes; monitor Permits to Work volume/criticality (especially Hot Work) and liaise with OIM and Superintendents to maintain safe operations and appropriate work pace; requires minimum five years offshore experience, solid CoW system familiarity, engineering degree (or technical qualification), active CREA/CFT registration, and advanced English.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of offshore operational experience in Production, Marine, Maintenance or HSSE
- Technical qualification or Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Active CFT (Conselho Federal dos Técnicos Industriais) or CREA registration
- Advanced English
