Job Summary
Prepare and maintain project procurement plans, review single source justifications, and manage RFx processes including commercial evaluations and pre-bid meetings. Conduct price analysis, modeling, and purchase-price cost analysis to identify competitive benchmarks. Execute OFCI buyer/expediting duties, coordinate between multiple teams, and process change orders, RFIs, and submittals. Establish negotiation plans and participate in negotiations while assisting with new contract process controls. Produce accurate reports for the project team, stakeholders, and clients. Identify and propose industry standards to improve processes. Requires five to ten years of experience in procurement and contract administration, specifically with equipment buying and expediting, and proficiency in Portuguese and English.
Required Qualifications
- MUST HAVE Experience with equipment buying and expediting
- Five to ten years of experience in procurement and contract administration, working on a variety of projects to include technology-based clients
- Strong understanding of contract requirements and the preparation of RFxs/RFIs
- Proficiency and experience with various procurement methodologies and sourcing techniques
- Ability to operate and execute effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and challenging deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication, influencing and persuasion skills
- Proficient in both Portuguese and English
