Job Summary
Greet customers with enthusiasm and provide wine selection guidance based on their tastes and occasions. Conduct tastings to explain wine characteristics while maintaining the display area clean, organized, and well-stocked. Verify harvest dates and expiration dates to ensure quality, and prepare gift boxes when applicable. Share information about wine regions, grapes, and production methods. Requires complete elementary education and prior customer service experience, preferably in a wine store or restaurant. A Sommelier course is a plus.
