Job Summary
Accounting Business Partner LATAM located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, partnering with global Finance in New York to oversee LATAM accounting operations (Brazil and Mexico), support budgeting/forecasting, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, payroll/taxes, and regional office administration. Responsibilities include regional ownership of accounting operations, accounts payable, bank/credit card reconciliation, liaison with headquarters, month-end close support, intercompany transactions, and cross-functional projects to improve regional and global processes. Requires fluency in Portuguese and English, strong interpersonal skills, and experience with NetSuite (and Concur) in a multinational setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, and administration, preferably within a global or multinational organization
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with NetSuite and Concur (preferred)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
