ESP-1 Warren School

Education Support Personnel (ESP-1) assists the kindergarten classroom teacher with daily instructional activities, building a safe and engaging learning environment, and supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development. Responsibilities include supporting literacy and mathematics instruction, reinforcing classroom routines, providing individual and small-group assistance, monitoring students during transitions and various settings, preparing and organizing instructional materials, contributing to data collection and progress documentation, assisting with accommodations and modifications, modeling appropriate communication and social skills, maintaining confidentiality, collaborating with teachers and staff, participating in meetings and trainings, and supporting behavior management plans and safety requirements as directed by school staff.
