Job Summary
Facilitate ESOL workshops for educators with virtual-first delivery and occasional in-person sessions; design and deliver high-quality, research-informed professional learning on language development, sheltered instruction, and equitable access to grade-level content; leverage AI examples and research to inform classroom practice; engage adult learners and build collaborative learning communities; travel up to 15% for customer sites and events across the U.S.; contract position with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in higher education, academic research, laboratory work, K–12 education, or a combination of these contexts
- Experience using or understanding how AI is applied in research (data analysis, modeling, workflow automation, or literature synthesis) or willingness to speak from real academic research experience while integrating provided AI examples
- Demonstrated success facilitating interactive workshops for adult learners, both in person and virtually
- Strong presence in front of groups; ability to read a room, adjust pacing, and maintain engagement
- Tech-savviness and comfort navigating Zoom, Google tools, virtual collaboration platforms, and digital materials
- Growth mindset and openness to feedback
- Self-starter attitude, reliability, timeliness, and professionalism
