Job Summary
Plan, organize, and present instruction and instructional environments that support English Language Learners in acquiring subject matter, academic skills, and social development. Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local policies governing the education of English Language Learners under Title III, the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, and Every Student Succeeds Act. Screen potential Multilingual Learner students with the WIDA screener and assist the district in administering the WIDA ACCESS test during the designated testing window. Requires a Bachelor's degree, a valid North Carolina Teaching License, and ESL teacher experience.
