Job Summary
ESL Teacher for K-12 across Camden Prep campuses, providing and guiding ESL instruction, collaborating with Special Education Coordinators and school leaders, and traveling between Camden campuses as needed. Responsibilities include in-class support for ESL students, sheltering instruction strategies, participation in IEP meetings, alignment to WIDA standards, administering and interpreting WIDA assessments, family engagement, and contributing to a positive school culture. Required: Bachelor's degree and valid NJ ESL certification; two years urban/public-school teaching experience preferred. Compensation between $56,000 and $80,000 with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Bachelor’s degree from a College or University by employment start
- Valid NJ English as a Second Language State Certification is required
- Two years teaching experience in an urban public school or charter school setting preferred
