Job Summary
Plan, organize, and present ESL instruction aligned to the WIDA/ACCESS standards; identify and test English Language Learners as needed; develop lesson plans and differentiated instruction in collaboration with classroom teachers; participate in ESL team meetings, coordinate the annual ACCESS testing window, maintain student databases with language proficiency goals, and provide professional development to staff. The role includes planning daily lessons, supporting counseling for scheduling, and, when applicable, assisting with parent meetings in Spanish. Strong emphasis on collaboration, language proficiency assessment, and meeting state ESL requirements.
