ESL Teacher

Job Summary
Provide ESL services and interventions for English Learners, evaluate and monitor language proficiency, and place students in appropriate support services. As an instructional coach, mentor and model exemplary ESL instruction, develop collaborative lesson plans aligned with TEKS and ELPS, design and deliver professional development, and support the bilingual/ESL department in curriculum development and program goals. Maintain records and participate in LPAC/TELPAS processes, while coordinating with campus teachers to strengthen ESL practices and improve student language development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Master’s degree (preferred)
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with ESL certification or endorsement
