ESL Teacher - Asheville Tourists (Independent Contractor)

ESL Teacher for Asheville Tourists (Independent Contractor): deliver English instruction to international players, teach 2-3 classes per week when the team is at home, lead occasional virtual English sessions, plan and submit weekly lesson plans, apply research-based strategies for second language acquisition and effective classroom management, submit student evaluations, maintain attendance records, and collaborate with the Manager, Player Education and Life Skills. Requires being based in Asheville, NC (within 50 miles); availability for late morning to early afternoon hours from June 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026, with additional virtual opportunities year-round. Proficiency in Spanish and a Bachelor’s degree in education, development, or related field preferred; ESL teaching certification is a plus; experience with teaching, tutoring, or education and familiarity with athletes/baseball are valued.
