ESIS Claim Representative, WC

Investigate and resolve workers' compensation claims promptly, fairly, and in accordance with established best practices. Receive assignments, review policy information to determine extent of obligation, and contact insureds, claimants, witnesses, physicians, attorneys, and police officers to gather necessary information. Evaluate facts to assess liability and prepare reports on investigations, settlements, denials, and party evaluations. Set reserves within authority limits, recommend changes to the Team Leader, and submit unusual exposures for review. Assist in developing process improvements for claims handling, settle claims, obtain releases and proofs of loss, and issue payment drafts. Inform claimants and attorneys of denials when applicable.
