Job Summary
ESG Sales Executive responsible for identifying, targeting, and closing high-value SaaS/solutions opportunities in sustainability space. Engage C-suite stakeholders to understand ESG challenges, pitch carbon accounting tools, regulatory compliance services, and sustainability software; support pre-sales activities (demos, bids, pricing alignment); cultivate strategic partnerships with corporate sustainability and finance teams; coordinate with ESG delivery teams for onboarding and value realization; oversee post-sale implementation and customer training to ensure adoption and lasting satisfaction. Requires proven B2B SaaS sales experience, knowledge of ESG frameworks (CSRD, GHG Protocol, TCFD, ISSB), ability to present to senior executives, and comfort working with autonomy in a fast-moving market; hybrid role based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience in SaaS, consulting, financial services, or related field with a history of meeting/exceeding quota
- Strong understanding of global sustainability frameworks (CSRD, GHG Protocol, TCFD, ISSB)
- Demonstrated ability to present to and close deals with C-level stakeholders (CEO, CFO, Chief Sustainability Officer)
- Autonomy in a fast-moving market with strong pipeline management and follow-through
- Genuine enthusiasm for driving measurable environmental and social change
- Familiarity with ESG regulatory requirements relevant to the assigned territory
- Based in Malaysia (country manager report) and hybrid/work environment
