ESG Data Analysis & Modelling - Intern

ESG Data Analysis & Modelling Intern at ING focused on designing an AI-driven mapping between ING’s global ESG framework and local taxonomies. Responsibilities include proposing an AI-based methodology to automate mapping, piloting the approach in one country, working with data analysts and ESG domain experts to test feasibility and accuracy, and evaluating the pilot to provide scalability recommendations. Ideal candidates have a strong interest in AI, data science, and sustainability, familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks (CSRD, EU Taxonomy) is a plus, and an analytical, structured problem-solving mindset. The internship offers a 700 EUR monthly-like allowance based on a 36-hour work week, hybrid working, and enrollment at a Dutch university (or EU university for EU passport holders).
