Job Summary
ESG Controller Lead for Sustainable Financing Reporting at Vice President level. Responsible for ensuring accuracy of ESG metrics, adherence to CORE controls, and production of internal quarterly materials and the Firm's Sustainability Report. Partners with ESG Product Team, Center for Carbon Transition, MRGR, and data providers to strengthen governance and innovate reporting methodologies within the Firm’s ESG framework. Requires extensive accounting/finance experience, strong communication, and ability to collaborate across business units to deliver scalable ESG reporting in Target State Architecture. Experience with data analysis, governance, and process improvement is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or related industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Experience in managing process and workflow enhancement
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced desktop/spreadsheet/database skills
- Ability to interpret complex models and bespoke methodologies
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and execute in a constantly changing environment
- Ability to partner across all levels of the organization and influence decisions and priorities outside of one’s direct span of control
- Ability to understand business drivers, systems and interdependencies to deliver solutions to business problems
