Job Summary
ESE Paraprofessional Cluster Aide supporting elementary students under the supervision of certified staff. Responsibilities include assisting in supervision of students, performing clerical duties, creating a safe learning environment, implementing classroom activities, assisting with behavioral management, developing instructional materials, preparing accurate records, assisting with assessing student progress, communicating effectively with staff and parents, using specialized equipment as required, and following school policies. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, or an associate degree or 60-hour equivalent, and passing Para Pro assessment; duties emphasize student support, instructional assistance, record-keeping, and collaboration with school personnel.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Associate of Arts Degree or Associate of Science Degree or sixty (60) hour equivalent
- Passing score on the Para Pro Assessment Test
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Basic knowledge of children
- Knowledge of general computer use
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to work independently
