Job Summary
Escrow Specialist responsible for the administration and maintenance of the bank’s escrow portfolio, ensuring accurate analysis, payment processing, account maintenance, and regulatory compliance. Oversees escrow account setup and boarding, performs escrow analyses, processes tax and insurance disbursements, and maintains escrow-related documentation throughout the life of the loan. Works closely with Loan Servicing, borrowers, insurance providers, tax authorities, and other third parties to ensure escrow accounts are managed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include initial and ongoing escrow account setup, annual/periodic analyses, processing disbursements for taxes and insurance, monitoring shortages/surpluses, preparing statements and notices, maintaining records, updating insurance/tax information, resolving discrepancies, coordinating with borrowers and authorities, ensuring RESPA compliance, supporting audits, and maintaining confidentiality and operational excellence. Qualifications include lengthy escrow/mortgage servicing experience, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and with teams, and willingness to work evenings/weekends and travel as needed. The role may be hybrid after 6 months of employment with First National Bank (FNB).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- 5+ years of escrow administration, mortgage servicing, or loan servicing REQUIRED
- Working knowledge of escrow analysis, insurance tracking, tax payments, and mortgage servicing practices
- Familiarity with RESPA requirements and escrow regulations preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and loan servicing systems
- Compensation and benefits info as provided by employer across full-time schedule
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
- Some travel to branch or offsite locations may be required
- Evenings and weekends availability as business needs dictate
- Hybrid schedule considered after 6 months employment
