Job Summary
Review contracts, verify paperwork, and ensure titles are clean and taxes are paid to keep transactions moving forward. Work with agents, lenders, and underwriters to fund loans and confirm all terms are met before funds or property change hands. Identify potential issues, adapt to client moods, and manage multiple contracts under deadline pressure. Train assistants, audit work, and delegate tasks to build a capable team. Establish relationships with attorneys, surveyors, and government agencies to smoothly manage deals. Reach out to new agents to market business and retain them with white-glove service. Be present at closing to create a positive experience for buyers and sellers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years of escrow experience
- front-end experience
- back-end experience
- Notary public license
- escrow officer license
- Technical knowledge of closing process
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong written and verbal skills
Desired Qualifications
- One year of escrow closing experience
- An existing client base that will follow them to our company
