Job Summary
Complete real estate escrow transactions by determining requirements, acting as a neutral liaison between file parties, and monitoring risk. Establish new escrow accounts, manage funds, process documents for closings, and prepare legal documents for the closure of the sale. Examine property titles, mortgages, and trust deed documents to ensure all funds are properly accounted for and disbursed per contract terms. Prepare regular reports on escrow account status and complete closing by recording, filing, and distributing final closing statements. This in-office role in Grand Rapids, MI requires 2-4 years of escrow experience, valid licensing, and strong communication skills within a team focused on transforming the residential real estate experience.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of escrow-related experience
- Experience directly handling escrow transactions
- Valid Licensing/Certification as required by applicable state
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of MS Office suite
- Ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies
