Job Summary
Escrow Officer at Williston Financial Group (WFG) in Portland, OR, responsible for providing superior escrow services and maximizing profitability by coordinating with clients, consumers and WFG personnel in compliance with policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include preparing or securing deeds and closing documents, disbursing funds and charges, preparing final statements, securing releases of contingencies, serving as a central point of communication among involved parties, and maintaining knowledge of WFG products, services and procedures. Requires mastery of escrow law and regulatory frameworks (RESPA, TILA, Dodd-Frank, CFPB) and ALTA Best Practices, strong customer service and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, leadership qualities, and a commitment to personal growth and industry trend awareness.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to read, write and interpret in English.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and escrow production software e.g. ResWare, RamQuest, AtClose, IClosings and/or others.
- Possess five years related experience and/or training.
Desired Qualifications
- College degree in business or finance.
- Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
