Job Summary
Escrow Officer/Transaction Manager at Northwest Title Family of Companies in Ohio. Acts as the primary client contact, coordinating with realtors, lenders, and attorneys to prepare for closing. Ensures all items on a title insurance commitment are resolved, clears title defects, and obtains signatures to insure a marketable title. Prepares the Closing Disclosure/Settlement Statement in line with contracts and regulatory requirements, performs closing and settlement functions, and maintains relationships with realtors and lenders for ongoing business. Manages a real estate transaction file from start to finish, coordinating across departments to achieve a successful close and providing professional client service.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of one year experience working in the Real Estate Title industry or related experience in a law firm
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one year experience in a similar role in a real estate title company
- Proven organization and communication skills
- Experience coordinating communication across multiple channels and people
- Ability to multi-task and work quickly but accurately
- Quality communication skills via email, phone, video, and in-person, including proper grammar and spelling
