Job Summary
Review buyer, seller, and lender instructions to determine escrow requirements and obtain clear title by ordering reports and resolving defects. Coordinate title operations with customer service, searching, examining, and accounting departments while communicating with clients during file opening and closing. Collaborate with stakeholders including lenders, agents, and attorneys to ensure transactions run seamlessly. Adhere to company policies and guidelines while performing other duties as assigned. This full-time on-site role at our Clayton, MO location supports St. Louis Title's real estate transaction processing, requiring a Missouri Department of Insurance license and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Missouri Department of Insurance license or ability to meet the requirements for Missouri Department of Insurance licensing
- Basic computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to meet ongoing Continuing Education requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with both internal and external customers
- Ability to attend to conferences and events, which may require travel to St. Louis area
- Ability to work independently and or within a team structure
- Ability to recognize the need to escalate matters when necessary
- Positive, clear communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to adapt quickly
Desired Qualifications
- Prior knowledge of SoftPro software
- Prior knowledge and experience with real estate transaction processing, closings, and title industry
