Job Summary
Conduct routine servicing, inspections, and safety checks on escalators and travelators across the UK portfolio. Use diagnostic testing to identify faults and repair or replace defective components. Complete service reports and documentation detailing work performed and required actions. Depending on experience, undertake refurbishment projects while adhering to strict safety procedures. Resolve technical, mechanical, and re-wiring issues independently across multiple sites. This role supports a growing team managing over 400 units for major retailers like Tesco and Asda. You will contribute to operational excellence within Complii's Vertical Transportation division, helping maintain high safety and compliance standards nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Engineering Maintenance (Escalator Service & Repair) or equivalent qualification
- Strong ability to identify and resolve technical, mechanical and re-wiring issues on escalator systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Commitment to safe working practices and ongoing online training to maintain up-to-date knowledge and compliance
