Job Summary
Escalation management for air and sea freight and support for commodity management within Strategic Procurement. Coordinate logistics topics for Business Areas Advanced Therapies, Diagnostic Imaging and Technology Excellence, focusing on system deliveries and component shipments between factories; act as interface to regions, pooling and external logistics providers; drive solution-oriented collaboration. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field (or vocational freight/logistics training with experience), several years in logistics with emphasis on air/sea freight, procurement exposure, and fluent German and English; travel flexibility and strong communication/presentation skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or comparable fields OR vocational training in freight forwarding/transport logistics with appropriate professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in logistics, especially in freight forwarding and transport logistics with a focus on air and sea freight
- Basic skills in procurement; experience in a commodity or category management environment is an advantage
- German and English language proficiency (business-fluent)
- Willingness to travel occasionally, both nationally and internationally
