Job Summary

Escalation Engineer - DLP role focused on high-impact, end-to-end problem resolution for complex DLP/CASB issues. Responsibilities include acting as the primary contact for escalated DLP cases, owning and resolving critical incidents, performing root-cause analysis, coordinating with product development and cross-functional teams, and maintaining proactive, transparent communication with customers. The ideal candidate demonstrates ownership, problem-solving ability, high-trust collaboration, customer obsession, and a sense of urgency, with strong experience in DLP technologies, Unix/Linux/Windows, cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), and scripting (Python/PowerShell). The role is hybrid and based in Bangalore, India, with potential remote work within India.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in technical support, with at least 5 years focused on DLP/CASB solutions and escalations
  • Experience with data loss prevention, and securing SaaS, and Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB)
  • Strong understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Practical working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments
  • Deep understanding of data protection principles and practices
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Python or PowerShell (preferred)
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and support tools including ServiceNow, Salesforce, or JIRA (preferred)
