Job Summary
Escalation Analyst responsible for investigating and escalating issues impacting the Order-to-Cash cycle, performing root-cause analysis, and advocating changes with stakeholders. The role focuses on identifying scope for changes, aligning actions with OHF objectives, building implementation timelines, and reporting status to management. Key activities include monthly reporting for assigned Hubbell Business Segments, AR/OTC performance analysis, cross-functional collaboration with Collections, Customer Service, Sales, and Operations, identifying gaps between customer AP processes and the Hubbell OTC workflow, facilitating meetings with internal teams and customers, developing best practices to improve payment behavior and processing efficiency, and managing transition plans for SOP changes. The position requires strong analytical, communication, and data skills, experience with ERP systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and a proactive, goal-oriented mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred
- 4–6 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Order-to-Cash, deductions, or other transaction-based accounting functions, ideally within a large organization
- Proficiency with ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle; familiarity with CRM or AR support systems is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to interpret AR/OTC metrics and drive process improvements
- Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating SOPs and documentation; ability to lead cross-functional discussions and drive follow-through
