Job Summary
ESC Student Aide, Clinic- SMES at Shale Meadows elementary supports a special needs student and assists a school nurse with clinical and classroom duties. Requires RN or LPN licensure in Ohio and an Ohio Educational Aide Permit; 185-day classified employment through ESCCO. Responsibilities include clinical needs and classroom activities, with emphasis on assisting the school nurse and student support, and completing the SchoolSpring application process (external/internal pathways) along with a timed Support Candidate Assessment. Location is Lewis Center, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid and appropriate Ohio Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensure
- Valid and appropriate Ohio Educational Aide Permit
- Basic keyboarding/computer skills
- Internal candidates must apply as external candidate when applicable
