Job Summary
Conduct cleaning of surgery, outpatient, inpatient, public, and office areas by scrubbing vertical and horizontal surfaces. Maintain floors through dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, auto scrubbing, vacuuming, and carpet shampooing. Remove and transport regular and infectious waste to proper receptacles, documenting disposal procedures. Clean draperies, cubicles, and blinds while organizing all floor care, cleaning, and trash carts. Respond to code red, green, and pink emergency situations. Perform occasional light maintenance duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or higher preferred
- Possesses and displays a strong knowledge and understanding of the standards of practice for their position including, if and when applicable, commensurate computer skills; population specific and general competencies; organizational skills, time and project management
