Job Summary
Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking an ES&H Representative / Safety Professional to support the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC. Responsibilities include providing conventional technical assistance to field operations on low-to-moderate risk scopes of work to ensure compliance with applicable safety and health regulations, analyzing workplace activities and potential hazards, reviewing work packages and observations, and supporting multiple S&H facets in the assigned facility. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least three years of field experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DOE Q clearance; preferred qualifications include CSP and/or CHST certification. The role emphasizes strong safety knowledge, OSHA regulation interpretation, and effective interpersonal relations in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- minimum three (3) years of field experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification and/or a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification.
- Working knowledge of SRNS processes and procedures.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
