ES&H Representative

ES&H Representative will integrate safety and health requirements into complex project planning, design, and operations to reduce the potential for adverse impacts. You will perform risk assessments, provide input on bid decisions, lead meetings and communications, and track and monitor performance trends. Your recommendations will contribute to enhanced quality of safety procedures and work processes. Under general supervision, the ES&H Representative will be responsible for supporting construction activities and implementation of the PALNG Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) Execution Plan. This is a field-based role with a significant portion of the shift engaged with field personnel, including accessing high elevation work areas via multi-level stairs, temporary scaffold ladders, and aerial work platforms. You will lead/co-lead incident investigations, participate in training and emergency preparedness activities, and identify opportunities for process improvements to minimize hazard potential. Must be able to obtain a site security badge for access to the worksite. Total rewards include robust benefits and a diverse, inclusive culture. Education and experience requirements include a bachelor’s degree related to occupational safety or health and 5-8 years of relevant experience (or 9-12 years of relevant work experience). Must have strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and ES&H standards, be able to coordinate safety requirements with engineering, construction, and subcontractors, and engage with project teams to improve ES&H performance. The role requires physical capability to perform field inspections, climb ladders/scaffolding, and operate PPE. Relocation is authorized on a national level for family members.
