Job Summary
Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience to develop innovative designs for mechanical systems, including CAD modeling and analysis, while coordinating with cross-disciplinary engineers.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Secret DoD Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret DoD Clearance
- Experience with GD&T
- Experience designing custom machined components, large assemblies, and piping systems
- Experience applying engineering codes and standards such as ASME BPVC, ASME B31.3, AISC 360-10, AWS D1.1, ASME Y14.5
Desired Qualifications
- Design experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, AutoCAD, or other relevant CAD software
- Analysis experience with ANSYS or ABAQUS, CAESAR, AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow, and MATHCAD
- Configuration Management experience and/or experience with PDM
- Drawing Check experience
