Job Summary
ERZ Controller at Centurion Mine (Peabody) responsible for day-to-day production crew leadership and compliance in an underground coal mining environment. Duties include performing statutory inspections, enforcing safety and SHMS standards, delivering maintenance schedules, facilitating crew communications, and driving production targets on a 7:7 day/night roster with FIFO/DIDO options. Relocation benefits are offered. Requires relevant certificates of competency and mining experience; role emphasizes safety, risk management, and supervisory leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years mining experience required
- 3rd Class Managers Certificate of Competency or Deputy's Certificate of Competency
- Competent in Supervisory skills
- S1, S2, S3 and risk management and investigation
- Trade certification(s) required
