Job Summary
Oversee strategic leadership and compliance for ERSEA and PFCE service areas, supervising supervisors and ensuring consistent implementation of systems across sites. Lead, coach, and develop staff while managing eligibility determinations, enrollment processes, and waitlisting in ChildPlus. Monitor enrollment and attendance metrics to drive continuous improvement and provide technical assistance on policies and performance standards. Manage service area budgets, approve purchases, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Conduct site visits to verify practice alignment and review subordinate timecards and performance evaluations. Collaborate with directors and community partners to support integrated service delivery and family engagement outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, public administration, education, business administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of three years of experience in leadership or management role with responsibility for supervising staff, guiding teams, and supporting program operations
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Be insurable by Company's current carrier
- Subject to Federal, State and Local legal requirements/background checks/clearance for working with children
- Ability to lead, supervise, and develop staff with limited direction
- Ability to provide strategic oversight of program systems and ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of or ability to learn applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including Head Start Performance Standards
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to support decision-making and continuous improvement
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and manage sensitive information
- Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, staff, families, and community partners
- Proficiency in the use of computer systems and data management platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change in a dynamic work environment
- Good eyesight (correctable)
- Hearing (correctable)
- Squatting, walking, handling, grasping, stretching/reaching, bending at the waist, driving and light lifting and/or carrying (up to 15lbs)
- Pushing, pulling, kneeling, balancing, turning, feeling, medium lifting and/or carrying (up to 30lbs)
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced education or leadership training
- Five or more years of leadership or management experience with increasing levels of responsibility, including program oversight and decision-making
- Experience within Head Start, ERSEA, Early Childhood, or other regulated human services environments
