Job Summary
Troubleshoot, test, and inspect electrical power distribution systems; lead project teams on testing and maintenance tasks including 15 kV class switchgear; perform relay calibration, power metering analysis, and simple power system studies; prepare detailed reports and participate in client proposals with scope, man-hours, and pricing; requires knowledge of NEC/OSHA/NFPA, strong communication, and willingness for travel; unit lead on projects with potential for business development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Engineer BSEE or BSME and no experience
- OR Graduate of applicable Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent and three years minimum same or similar work experience
- OR High school education or equivalent and four years minimum same or similar work experience
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and various industry standards (OSHA, NFPA)
- Passed NETA exam
- Strong background in switchgear testing through the 15 kV class
- Good writing and verbal communication
- Good judgment and leadership in supervising projects
- Willing to travel (out of town and international)
- Valid Driver’s License
