Job Summary
ERP Systems Analyst II responsible for subject-matter expertise in ERP content, processes, and configurations; collaborate with user groups, managers, development teams, and project teams to identify design enhancements and system configuration opportunities; provide end-user support and ensure proper integration of business applications; manage ERP configurations, patches, upgrades, and troubleshooting; administer user roles and permissions; develop detailed configuration and functional specification documents; communicate progress and provide user training; coordinate with vendors and third-party software for ERP solutions; participate in evaluating and selecting third-party software, vendors, and service providers; monitor ERP environment and tune performance; develop automated workflows to streamline business processes; on-call and potential overtime or weekend work; role requires on-site presence with county operations in Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a relevant degree
- 3-5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of ERP systems; knowledge of ERP software configuration
- Highly skilled in analytical and problem solving
- Skilled with Windows server and desktop operating systems
- Skilled in implementing and administering ERP solutions
- Skilled with business systems, software testing, report writing, project management, and/or business analyst
- Ability and willingness to learn new systems and technologies quickly
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, County employees, Elected/Appointed Officials, outside organizations and agencies, vendors and the general public
- Demonstrates technological intuitiveness
- Must secure and maintain a favorable background investigation and clearance
- Must pass pre-employment physical and pre-employment drug screen
- May be required to be on call 24 hours
- May be required to work more than 40 hours during the workweek
- May be required to work weekends
