Job Summary
Lead test strategy development and test readiness for an SAP S/4HANA ERP program. Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases (manual and automated) for unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing. Coordinate test activities across teams, manage environments and data, conduct defect triage, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices and QA standards. Communicate status and metrics to stakeholders, collaborate with business users, consultants, and offshore teams to ensure test coverage and readiness, and drive progress to meet project timelines. Travel up to 50% to other RTX US sites as needed. Preferred background includes experience managing test phases for large-scale ERP transformation projects, SAP upgrade/implementation, and familiarity with test management tools (e.g., qTest, ALM).
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience OR Advanced Degree in related field and minimum 3 years experience OR in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with test management tools such as qTest, ALM or similar tools
- Experience in cross-functional testing coordination across different workstreams, including management of onsite-offshore testing teams and alignment of deliverables
- Prior involvement in SAP upgrade or implementation projects
- Experience with multiple methodologies including waterfall and agile Scrum
- Ability to travel ~ 25%-50% to other major RTX US sites (ex. Farmington, Richardson, Cedar Rapids, and Charlotte)
