Job Summary
Manage multiple concurrent ERP support projects from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, budget, and customer expectations are met. Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to refine the college ERP system while developing project charters, work breakdown structures, and business cases aligned with strategic priorities. Execute quality assurance testing, track expenses, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Identify resource needs, analyze risks, and facilitate governance reviews to prioritize deliverables. Break deliverables into tasks, manage dependencies, and ensure adequate effort estimates for effective execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Progressively responsible experience in project management, leading projects from idea through implementation and close out
- Ability to develop, plan, execute, control and close projects related to the College ERP system
- Ability to coordinate and lead a set of stakeholders (both internal teams and external vendors)
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent ERP support projects from initiation to project closure
- Ability to ensure that project scope, budget and customer expectations are met
- Ability to assist with the review of project requests from the campus community and in building the business case
- Ability to determine project alignment with college strategic plan and priorities
- Ability to identify required project resources in consultation with project sponsors and business leads
- Ability to ensure the adequate level of effort has been estimated to effectively plan and execute the project
- Ability to ensure appropriate testing/quality assurance is completed for assigned projects
- Ability to track project budget and manage project expenses
- Ability to adequately estimate tasks and project timeline throughout the project's lifecycle
- Ability to break deliverables down into tasks and develop relationships/dependencies
- Ability to develop project charters in collaboration with project sponsors and business leads
- Ability to review deliverables in project charter and facilitate the creation of project deliverables
- Ability to identify the need for resources external resources (i.e., equipment, software, subject matter expertise)
- Ability to assist with developing project management templates for use at the college
- Ability to contribute to college project management methodology and college project management tools
- Ability to advocate for college-wide adoption and support a PM culture that is congruent with the culture of the college
- Ability to work with project teams to understand 'as is' business process and identify gaps from current state to future desired state
- Ability to work with project team to create work breakdown structures
- Ability to participate in various project governance teams to assist in project review and prioritization processes
- Ability to identify project issues that require resolution and manage issue tracking/reporting
- Ability to prioritize issues and escalate effectively as needed
- Ability to facilitate risk identification, analyze risks and prepare project risk register
- Ability to collaborate with project team to determine risk response plans
- Ability to assist with drafting key project decision documents and perform basic impact analysis
- Ability to complete and maintain required documentation
- Ability to analyze and maintain accurate records
- Ability to foster and maintain a safe environment of respect and inclusion for faculty, staff, students, and members of the community
- Ability to manage multiple assignments of varying complexity and meet tight timelines and deadlines
- Ability to adapt to changing needs of the College and business partners
- Ability to ensure College name and image is perceived positively by external as well as internal audience/stakeholders
- Ability to work outside of a normal workweek schedule as needed to meet workload demands
- Successful completion of a background check and/or MVR check
- Successful completion of a 10-panel drug screen
