Job Summary
Act as IT Expert and Consultant for the SAP S/4HANA & MDG – Material Master Data Global Template, leading design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Global Template. Responsible for defining and governing Material Master data standards, ensuring data quality, lineage, and metadata accuracy, and enforcing data governance policies. Perform hands-on functional responsibilities including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and collaboration with Business Product, Process, and Content owners. Coordinate with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, and Product Owners to create technical architecture patterns for master data initiatives; manage dependencies, data migration, harmonization, and IT integration while aligning with global template principles. Drive data governance efforts across cross-functional IT teams to deliver on-time, compliant, high-quality MDG capabilities and enable informed decision-making across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- A minimum of 6 years of dedicated experience in SAP Material Master Data
- At least 3 full-lifecycle implementations of the SAP MDG – Material Master Module, including Consolidation, Mass Processing, Data Quality Management (DQM), Integration, and Master Data Quality (MDQ)
- Demonstrated experience handling big-sized data governance projects and overseeing complex data governance systems
- Proven track record of independently leading, developing, and enforcing data governance policies and standards across multiple business units
- Experience actively managing data assets, ensuring data quality, lineage, and metadata accuracy
- Deep functional understanding of SAP Material Master concepts, including Procure-to-Pay, Manufacturing, and Quality Management
- Expert-level SAP functional configuration of Material master data
- Proficiency in SAP Customizing and SAP ABAP, specifically in design, implementation, and debugging
- Advanced knowledge of BRF+ (Business Rule Framework plus), including building rule-based workflow services and working collaboratively with developers for enhancements
- Proven hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager and Focused Build cycles
- Strong, in-depth knowledge of data privacy laws, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards
