Job Summary
ERP Functional Analyst, Expert - Finance analyzes and optimizes SAP FICO finance processes, designs and implements solutions across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting. Configures SAP FICO functionalities to align with regulatory requirements, develops detailed functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW), conducts unit/ integration/ regression testing and coordinates UAT, provides end-user training and production support, and designs financial reports/dashboards (e.g., Report Painter/Writer) to enable financial analysis and compliant reporting. Collaborates with cross-functional teams (EAM, MM, SD, PP) and ABAP developers to ensure seamless integrations with third-party systems (e.g., Concur, Taulia, PowerPlan, UI Planner, Kofax), supports month-end close, and participates in S/4HANA migration and ongoing support while ensuring SOX/compliance and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science/ Information Systems, Finance, Business, or equivalent work experience
- 7 years experience designing, configuring and developing complex solutions using SAP FICO modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting)
- Strong understanding of ERP interrelationships and dependencies of related modules and systems
- Desired: SAP S/4 implementation and / or support experience
- Experience in SAP EAM, SD and SCM modules
- Experience in SAP Ariba
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in writing requirements documents, functional specifications and preparing business process flows.
- Experience with designing new enhancements, reports, and interfaces with non-SAP systems
- Experience with integrations (Concur, Taulia, PowerPlan, UI Planner, Kofax, other modules/applications)
- Experience in implementing SAP BTP solutions
- Utility experience
- Demonstrates familiarity in SOX compliance, regulatory compliance, operational / disaster recovery.
