Job Summary
Evaluate residents' functional capacities and needs, then develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with the care team. Adapt environments or recommend assistive devices to promote autonomy and safety while delivering functional rehabilitation and stimulation. Participate in clinical committees to drive practice improvement and document all follow-ups and interventions according to professional standards. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in occupational therapy, valid OEQ membership, and experience in geriatric or long-term care settings. Starting October 18, 2026, this role offers a competitive hourly rate, per diem, provided housing, and paid transportation within the Abitibi-Ouest region.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en ergothérapie
- Membre en règle de l'Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ)
- Capacité à travailler en équipe interdisciplinaire
- Capacité à s'adapter à un milieu en évolution
Desired Qualifications
- Expérience en milieu gériatrique, en soins de longue durée ou en réadaptation fonctionnelle
