Job Summary
Evaluate functional capacities of users, develop intervention plans, and implement treatment programs to promote independence in daily activities. Recommend assistive devices and environmental adaptations while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Accompany and counsel users and their families, documenting all evaluations and interventions in clinical files. Contract positions available in Sept-Îles, Baie-Comeau, Port-Cartier, Minganie, Fermont, and Basse-Côte-Nord. Schedules include half-day shifts, full-time roles, and potential weekend or overnight coverage. Recent relevant experience, valid professional order membership, and a current driving license are required. Bilingualism in French and English is needed for certain regional mandates.
Required Qualifications
- Ergothérapeute
- Expérience récente et pertinente en ergothérapie
- Être membre en règle de l'ordre professionnel
- Diplôme en ergothérapie
- Pièce d'identité
- Permis de l'ordre
- Permis de conduire et véhicule requis pour certains mandats
- Bilinguisme français/anglais requis pour certains mandats régionaux
Desired Qualifications
- Expérience en clinique externe et interne
- Expérience auprès d'une clientèle pédiatrique (atout important)
