Job Summary
Maintain and improve ergonomics programs to assure compliance with federal, state, local, and company EH&S requirements. Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for proactive strategies preventing ergonomic injuries and develop training to promote awareness. Serve as a resource for employee compliance questions, support first aid and OSHA injury investigations, and analyze safety performance indicators to drive corrective actions. Interpret applicable regulations including OSHA, EPA, and ANSI standards while collaborating across the business to address multiple simultaneous projects. This role supports Raytheon's Environment, Health & Safety department at the Tucson, Arizona site, focusing on anticipating and controlling hazardous workplace conditions.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Active and existing security clearance
- DoD Clearance: Secret
- A University Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
- An Advanced Degree in a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ergonomic evaluations in industrial and office settings
- Experience with EJMS, CUSA or similar
- Ability to obtain Associate Ergonomics Professional (AEP), Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE), or equivalent certification within 2 years
- Active Secret level or higher security clearance
