Job Summary
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all tanks and equipment while managing parts inventory for repairs. Perform major maintenance and repairs on machinery, including rebuilding pumps, and execute advanced terminal functions such as PMA, Emulsion, and Injecting Concentrate operations. Order required parts and equipment as needed and train terminal operators on maintenance inspections and general tasks. Collaborate with outside vendors for third-party maintenance and repairs within the terminal. This full-time role reports to the Terminal or Maintenance Manager and includes other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Able to perform all of the Terminal Operator I and Operator II functions proficiently
- Ability to perform advanced functions as required by terminal including PMA, Emulsion and Injecting Concentrate
- Developing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules for all tanks and equipment
- Maintaining parts inventory for repairs and maintenance
- Ordering required parts and equipment needed for general maintenance and repair
- Able to perform major maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment including rebuilding pumps
- Assist with the development and execution of project work
- Train terminal operators on performing maintenance inspections and general maintenance tasks
- Be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time on concrete floors and outside surfaces
- Able to work outside in varying weather conditions, varying cold, hot & humid temperatures
- Manual dexterity; ability to reach; able to bend and move with agility
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs
