Job Summary
Load and unload trucks and railcars, conduct minor maintenance on plant equipment like pumps and mixers, and ensure quality control during production. Attend daily production, quality, and EHS meetings while utilizing safety checklists to maintain facility housekeeping standards. Effectively communicate with operators, management, and customers to meet operational needs. Wear required PPE including hard hats, face shields, and H2S monitors. Work outdoors in all weather conditions during daylight or first shift hours, Monday through Friday with some weekends. Valid US driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds with assistance are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Basic math skills (e.g., add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Ability to learn computer skills
- Valid US driver's license
- Able to meet physical requirements of the role including standing, walking for long periods, lift 50 pounds with assistance, and perform jobs that involve lifting, bending, and climbing tanks and other structures outside
- Able to work days and hours as scheduled, Monday through Friday; some weekends
- Daylight/1st shift hours
- Outdoor work in all seasons and potentially adverse weather conditions
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must pass a background check
