Job Summary
Assist with product testing and quality control in the lab by collecting and evaluating samples while entering production data into reporting systems. Load and unload trucks and railcars, conduct minor maintenance on plant equipment, and maintain facility cleanliness. Attend daily production, quality, and EHS meetings, follow safety procedures, and utilize proactive tools like safety checklists. Complete required training, wear PPE, and communicate effectively with coworkers, management, and transportation partners. Work outdoors in all weather conditions Monday through Friday, some weekends, with a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Basic math skills (e.g., add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Ability to learn computer skills
- Valid US driver's license
- Able to meet physical requirements of the role including standing or walking for long periods, lift 50 pounds with assistance, and perform jobs that involve lifting, bending, and climbing ladders, tanks and other outdoor structures
- Able to work days and hours as scheduled, Monday through Friday; some weekends
- Outdoor work in all seasons and potentially adverse weather conditions
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US
