Job Summary
Conduct daily asphalt binder production by assisting with lab testing, inputting quality specifications, and sampling product. Load and unload trucks and railcars while performing minor maintenance on plant equipment like pumps and mixers. Ensure facility housekeeping, participate in daily production and EHS meetings, and utilize safety checklists. Communicate effectively with operators, management, trucking partners, and customers to meet needs. Work outdoors in all weather conditions from Monday through Sunday. Wear provided PPE including hard hats and steel toe boots. Maintain current training and proficiency in Excel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work without supervision
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Basic math skills (e.g., add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Ability to learn computer skills
- Able to lift 50 pounds with assistance and perform jobs that involve lifting, bending, climbing tanks and other structures
- Valid driver's license
- Able to work days and hours as scheduled, Monday through Sunday
- Outdoor work in all seasons
